I can understand what you’re saying. I blog about my BF all the time – and I know he reads so I don’t write anything I wouldn’t tell him directly. However, sometimes when I’m frustrated with a situation, I WANT to talk about it and get feedback but I DON’T want to hurt his feelings or leave him feeling like I’ve invaded his privacy. Worse comes to worse, write it. Then, don’t publish it. Leave it as a draft. Or send it as an e-mail to a few people whom you trust. Or, passowrd protect it. I think there are obviously some things you want feedback on and you should have that – but I agree that the interwebs isn’t necessarily the best place to do it at this moment in time. BTW – congrats :) Glad you’ve had a happy week

Yes, I think there are moments you need to take “off blog,” and just talk out without opening it up to the entire community of readers. I have done this very writing exercise too: Written a post or text message and left it in draft format for however long it takes before I look at it again, realize I no longer need to address these feelings, and delete it. :)
