My first serious GF, whom I lived with for three years, was black but culturally white. Her father wanted a good life for his kids and moved into an overwhelmingly white suburb, where she was one of four black kids in a 2000-student high school.

Her dad didn’t approve of her dating white boys. She replied that she didn’t know any black boys, much less nice ones and that she wasn’t going to “visit the hood to try to pick up some gangsta.”

I’ve tried getting to know a few other black women since then, but although I’m physically attracted to them the cultural and attitude difference is just too much.

I’ve found similar issues with my mild fetish for east-Indian women.

If anyone has racial issues, it is the guy who submitted this letter. He seems to have a chip on his shoulder. I bet he would probably have success with black women, but I guess he doesn’t want them. Maybe he is the one is who prejudiced. Why does he feel is is entitled to any woman he wants?
