When EYE use the word “cracker” I am NOT referring to “all” White people, or even most White people; I am referring to those Whites who aren’t just racist, but just general all around arseholes and bad seeds, antisocials and the like. I don’t hesitate to tell them about themselves and what they can do with their sufferable selves, which is to go out and play in rush hour traffic, to take a long walk off a short plank and to stidown on a spiked Louisville Slugger three times quickly. I’ve worked with a number of such people in my life and have no problem in the least dealing with them, and they can take it anyway they want to take it.
I don’t consider someone like you a “cracker” because I don’t consider you to be a racist as the term is commonly understood, ie, having or harboring or exhibiting hostility towards entire groups of people specifically because they belong to a particular racial or ethnic group and so forth. I just consider you to be very opinionated about certain topics germane to the South and proud of your heritage and I have no problem with that, as you’ve earned the right to have your views – more than the vast majority of people in this country, including yours truly. You don’t exhibit irrational hatred or even intense dislike toward others solely on the basis of their racial or ethnic background, nor do you seem to be an arsehole antisocial, et al, so you wouldn’t be a cracker in my book.
